Everybody is finishing school and working on there portfolio's to finish school...while I'm stuck here for longer.....kinda makes me sad.

I don't know why I feel like writing something but I do. Well things seem to be going beter for me this quarter. I took 2 quarters off from animation, thought about a lot of things and now I'm back into animation. I remember when I first came to AIP, I was so happy and ready to draw and show people what I could do. Then around my third quarter I was crushed and was told that I was not going to make it in the art world. I still haven't fully gotten over that, but I am trying. I feel the happiest when I am animating something in the cell lab at school.....or when I'm selling my art at an anime convection. Watch a person flip through my portfolio and buy it at the con, the atsomphere at the con it what I love. These things are not great ways to make money. I want my portfolio to consists of more 2D things than 3D. Things such as 2D animation and concept art. I was wondering if anyone has any advice on improving. I know of course that I need to practice every chance I get. I have already began filling my sketch books with many drawings and drawing for many hours a day. I feel lost because some people say to draw one thing then another.....hmmm Ive been trying to come up with characters.....Ive been thinking about posting my sketch pages so people can see where I might be going wrong...O well I was just think about some stuff so I decided to write ..........I know my grammer sucks >< sorry

Ok so I go back to the devil school in one month ....I need to start working on my portfolio but I'm super stuck and I'm going insane.....I need to come up with concept work and I'm in a funk...I don't know where to start or what to do and I'm going crazy....

Most people that are close to me know that I have left AIP and will be going to another AI school for many reasons. I'm at home in Ohio working at my job and working on a portfolio. I have no scanner so I will be posting awful web cam pictures of my recent work. Please comment on them when you get the chance ^^
